Secondary School No. 2, which is part of the School Complex No. 2. Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński in Ełk is a facility managed by the Ełk County. The school employs 55 teachers and educates young people at post-primary level.

The school prepares students for the high school leaving exam. It ensures the development of competences useful in personal, social and professional life. Interest groups, subject and integration trips, and subject and sports competitions are organized. The school has implemented EU projects: Erasmus+ – and PO WER – “City, Poland, Europe, World”.

Mathematics is taught by 6 teachers with higher education in a specific field and with pedagogical training, with 8-30 years of experience. Two teachers completed postgraduate studies in computer science. They deepen their knowledge and skills during training, courses and panels organized by ODN. Five teachers have the qualifications of a state examiner of the secondary school leaving examination in mathematics. Students take part in mathematical competitions: the international “Mathematical Kangaroo” competition, the national “Applied Mathematics” competition, the Statistics Olympiad and the Logical Problems Olympiad. The school has achieved an average pass rate of 98% for the Mathematics exams over the last 3 years.
